Recently, actor Byeon Woo Seok’s security team received harsh backlash for its “over-the-top” behavior at the airport.

An online video revealed Byeon’s security guard using a flashlight at civilians to prevent them from filming. The video went viral online, with many criticizing the security team’s actions.

The security team CEO quickly admitted that “it was the security guard’s fault for having shone the flashlight” and “wished to deeply apologize for making civilians uncomfortable.”

Most recently, although Byeon Woo Seok’s agency issued an official apology online, they still received criticism from netizens.

According to media outlet OSEN, on July 23, Byeon Woo Seok’s agency decided to no longer work with security company A, which sparked controversy over excessive behavior at the airport.

On July 22, Dispatch released a report about Byeon Woo Seok’s controversy over his security guard’s actions. Previously, the actor came under heavy criticism for what many alleged at the time to be overprotective security guards at Incheon Airport.
