The new comedy series Bait from Riz Ahmed arrived on Amazon Prime Video on March 25, 2026. The show follows Shah Latif, a struggling British-Pakistani actor who gets a final shot at landing the role of James Bond. What happens next is four crazy days where his life falls apart as family, his past relationship, and social media all weigh in on whether he deserves the part.

Music plays a huge role in setting the mood of the show. The soundtrack mixes old Pakistani film music from the 1970s with modern UK and South Asian artists. Here is every song you will hear in all six episodes.

The Official Soundtrack EP

The show comes with a six-track soundtrack album called Bait (Music From the Original Series). It dropped the same day as the show on March 25. A bigger extended soundtrack will follow on April 16, 2026 along with the official music video for Jorja Smith‘s song.

The EP tracklist includes:

  • ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)’ by Anish Kumar featuring Arooj Aftab
  • ‘Pulling Me Back’ by Jay Sean featuring Véyah
  • ‘Lakshmi Express’ by Anish Kumar
  • ‘Price Of It All’ by Jorja Smith
  • ‘Valley Of The Shadows (Bait FM)’ by Origin Unknown featuring MC Shabba D
  • ‘Price Of It All (Amir Amor Remix)’ by Jorja Smith

Arooj Aftab and Anish Kumar’s ‘Sweet Dreams’ Cover

The cover of the 1983 Eurythmics classic ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)’ is getting a lot of attention. Arooj Aftab, who is Pakistan’s first Grammy winner, sings the song in Urdu with British-Indian producer Anish Kumar. The track mixes synth, sitar, and Aftab’s voice to create something fresh and different.

At the show’s launch party, Riz Ahmed introduced Arooj Aftab as “The Kate Bush of Pakistan.” The song turns the original’s dark feel into something that fits the show’s heavy moments even though Bait is a comedy.

Jorja Smith’s ‘Price Of It All’

Jorja Smith wrote ‘Price Of It All’ as the main theme for the series. The track starts slow and intimate then builds into a big, emotional song with strings and layers of instruments. Smith’s voice drives the whole thing. The song matches the stress and pressure Shah feels as he chases his big break.

This year marks 10 years since Jorja Smith released her first single ‘Blue Lights’ in 2016. She has a busy 2026 ahead with shows supporting Harry Styles on his world tour and co-headlining All Points East in London this August.
