BLACKPINK’s Rosé has confirmed that her upcoming album Rosie will not feature any more collaborations, following the success of her recent track APT, which included Bruno Mars. This revelation has left fans eager to hear the album, especially since her solo career continues to gain traction.

No Collaborations in “Rosie” Post-APT Success

Rosé’s APT, featuring global sensation Bruno Mars, was released earlier this month and has since garnered significant attention from fans and music critics alike. Despite the overwhelming success of the track, Rosé recently disclosed in an interview with BuzzFeed that her upcoming album Rosie will not feature any further collaborations.

In her interview, Rosé shared that Rosie, set to be released on December 6, 2024, is a deeply personal project. She has emphasized her intention to make this album reflect her own musical journey and personality. Rosé explained that, after the success of APT, she chose to keep the rest of the album strictly solo, allowing her personal style to shine through without external influences.

Personal Insights into the Album Creation

The singer also took to Instagram to offer fans a glimpse into her creative process. In a heartfelt post, Rosé mentioned that after BLACKPINK’s tour ended in 2023, she threw herself into the development of her new album. She admitted to feeling confused during the creative process but thanked her friends, family, and fans for their support.

“I’ve poured my heart into this album,” Rosé said in the post, calling Rosie a “little journal of mine.” She revealed that Rosie is a name used by those closest to her, and through the album, she hopes fans will feel the same closeness.

A Journey of Solo Success

Rosé’s solo career took off in 2021 with her debut album R, which featured hit tracks like On the Ground and Gone. Her talent quickly gained recognition, landing her on several international music charts.

Following the release of APT, Rosé solidified her solo career by continuing her work under THE BLACK LABEL for individual projects while still maintaining her ties with YG Entertainment for group activities with BLACKPINK.
