Netflix’s new show, “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” brings together webtoon artist Kian84, BTS’ Jin, and Ji Yea Eun to run a guesthouse in Ulleungdo. The show promises a mix of humor and unexpected events, with the first trailer revealing some of the unusual challenges guests will face.
A Guesthouse Like No Other
The show’s concept centers on spontaneity. The guesthouse, located on the remote island of Ulleungdo, is designed to be anything but ordinary. A teaser poster shows a floating structure in the Ulleungdo Sea, giving a surreal feel. The tagline, “When imagination comes to life,” hints at the unpredictable experience.
Trailer Reveals Unique Challenges
The trailer shows guests facing unusual tasks. Instead of a normal check-in, they must climb a steep rock wall. Mealtime involves “bare-handed” eating challenges, pushing people outside their comfort zones. The show aims to provide constant entertainment with these unique activities.
The Team Behind the Bizarre
Kian84, known for his free-spirited nature, leads the guesthouse. He brings an imaginative, no-rules approach to hospitality. Jin from BTS takes on the role of an all-purpose staff member, supporting Kian84’s unpredictable actions. Ji Yea Eun, a newcomer from the MZ generation, adds energy to the team. She even got a watercraft license for the show.
The team faces challenges running a guesthouse where anything can happen. Their chemistry and problem-solving, or lack thereof, will be a key part of the show. Director Jung Hyo-min and writer Yoon Shin-hye, known for “Hyori’s Homestay,” bring their experience to this project.
Release Schedule
“Kian’s Bizarre B&B” will have nine episodes, released over three weeks. Three episodes will drop each week, giving viewers time to enjoy the show while keeping them waiting for more.
