The October brand reputation rankings for advertisement models have been revealed, with Byeon Woo Seok and LE SSERAFIM among the top-ranked stars. These rankings, released by the Korean Business Research Institute, analyze various factors based on big data collected from September 3 to October 3, 2024. The analysis looks at consumer behavior, participation, media presence, and social values to calculate the brand reputation index for each star.
Highlights from the Top 5
Lim Young Woong The trot singer took first place with a brand reputation index of 1,661,947. His single My Starry Love hit number one on the Gaon Digital Chart in 2021. He also became the first trot artist to receive the Gold Play Button for surpassing one million subscribers on YouTube.
Byeon Woo Seok The actor claimed second place with an index of 1,416,656. He gained widespread attention through his roles in dramas like Record of Youth and Strong Girl Nam Soon. His recent performance in Lovely Runner as Ryu Sun Jae further boosted his popularity.
Shin Yubin The Olympic table tennis medalist ranked third with 1,346,821 points. She recently made headlines by winning a gold medal at the Asian Games, marking the first victory for South Korea in women’s doubles table tennis in 21 years.
Son Heung Min The football star took the fourth spot with a brand reputation score of 1,288,895. Known for his exceptional skills and versatility, he is one of the top wingers globally and a celebrated figure in Asian football.
LE SSERAFIM The K-pop group ranked fifth with a significant jump in their brand reputation index, scoring 1,128,150. The group, comprising members Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae, saw a 228.51% increase in their ranking from the previous month.
