Regina Ventura, the mother of singer Cassie Ventura, testified in court that Sean “Diddy” Combs threatened to release explicit s*x tapes of her daughter. She also revealed he demanded $20,000 after learning Cassie was dating rapper Kid Cudi.

The shocking details came out during Diddy’s sex trafficking and racketeering trial in Manhattan federal court. Regina Ventura said she felt “physically sick” when she read an email from her daughter about Diddy’s threats.

“I did not understand it, the sex tape threw me. He was trying to hurt my daughter.”

She explained that Diddy was angry because Cassie had started a relationship with Kid Cudi (real name Scott Mescudi). The music mogul allegedly wanted to “recoup money” he had spent on Cassie’s career.

To pay the $20,000, Regina and her husband took out a home equity loan. The money was sent to a Bad Boy Records account but was returned days later. By then, Cassie had already reconciled with Diddy.

Photos of Cassie’s bruises from 2011 were shown in court. Regina testified she took the pictures to document the alleged abuse. “She was bruised, and I wanted to make sure we memorialize it.”

Diddy’s defense team did not cross-examine Regina Ventura. The rapper avoided looking at her as she left the courtroom.

Cassie herself testified earlier in the trial, describing years of abuse and control. She said Diddy forced her into “freak-off” sex parties and filmed them. He later used the videos to blackmail her.

Kid Cudi is expected to testify soon. In 2012, his Porsche was set on fire in an incident that Cassie linked to Diddy’s threats.

Former Diddy assistant David James also testified. He said the rapper carried guns, took drugs daily, and made employees take lie detector tests. James quit after fearing for his life during a confrontation with Suge Knight.

Another witness, male escort Sharay Hayes, described participating in sex parties arranged by Diddy. He said Cassie followed Diddy’s directions but sometimes seemed frustrated.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
