A viral photo showing BTS V (Kim Taehyung) and actor Park Hyung Sik having dinner with art curator Eva Chow has been confirmed as fake. The image, which spread quickly on social media, was created using AI tools. Fans initially believed it was real but soon noticed inconsistencies.

The photo appeared online on May 15, 2025. It showed V, Park Hyung Sik, and Eva Chow sitting together at a dinner table. A caption supposedly written by Chow mentioned Vโ€™s upcoming military discharge and praised Park Hyung Sikโ€™s drama Buried Hearts. Many fans were excited, thinking it was a real update during Vโ€™s military service.

However, doubts arose quickly. Fans checked Eva Chowโ€™s official Instagram and found no such post. The photo also had strange details, like unnatural facial features and a distorted flower behind Vโ€™s ear. These signs pointed to AI manipulation. Online discussions confirmed the image was fake, likely made by a fan as creative artwork.

Fans shared mixed reactions. Some were disappointed, while others criticized the spread of fake news. Many pointed out how easily AI-generated content can mislead people.

“Iโ€™m glad we got tae and hyungsik together but sheโ€™s ridiculous with these filters. like pls donโ€™t subject these two handsome men to your insecurities. look even taes flower is warped ๐Ÿ˜ฉ,” one fan wrote.

“Did they knew they were going to look like that in the final picture??,” another user questioned.

“Why is she adding those filters?๐Ÿ˜ญ those pics look like AI. I didnโ€™t even recognize Hyungsik ๐Ÿง,” a third comment read.

Despite the fake photo, fans were happy to see V and Park Hyung Sik linked together. The two are part of the Wooga Squad, a close friend group in the Korean entertainment industry. The squad includes Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik, and Peakboy. Their friendship began while filming the drama Hwarang in 2016.

Fake images and deepfakes have become more common, raising concerns about misinformation. Fans are now more cautious about believing viral posts without verification.
