The latest episode of Fallout Season 2, titled “The Profligate,” is another love letter to longtime fans of the games. The story dives deeper into the politics of the Mojave Wasteland, bringing major factions and iconic items from the Fallout: New Vegas video game directly to the screen. From the brutal Caesar’s Legion to the specific design of a rocket-powered hammer, the show continues to build its world with a careful eye on the source material. For players who have spent hours in the game, this episode is packed with recognizable characters, locations, and secrets.

Caesar’s Legion Arrives with Authentic Roman Brutality

Episode 3 formally introduces one of the most formidable factions from Fallout: New Vegas: Caesar’s Legion. Viewers see Lucy captured and brought into their camp, which is populated by soldiers whose ranks and uniforms are pulled straight from the game. In the show, The Ghoul meets the Securitron named Victor here. Because they are child Ghouls, they represent what the games call “born ghouls.”. This is a very specific and rare condition in Fallout lore, where children are born as Ghouls due to the cruel experiments of a man named Dr. Sebastian. These characters have only ever been mentioned by name in the games and have never physically appeared until now.
