Go Yoon Jung and Kang Yoo Seok are finally heading to Bali to reunite with their Resident Playbook co-stars after missing the initial group departure due to busy schedules. The actors, who play beloved OB-GYN residents in the hit tvN drama, will join the team vacation later than planned.
Most of the Resident Playbook cast, including Jung Joon Won, Han Ye Ji, Shin Si Ah, and Lee Hyun Kyun, flew to Bali on May 26, 2025. They were seen at Incheon International Airport before arriving at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, where fans warmly welcomed them. The group is enjoying a 7-day retreat to celebrate the dramaโs successful run.
The production team clarified that this trip is not a reward vacation but a team-building activity.
โIt is not a reward vacation for all performers and staff, but a trip for teamwork,โ said the Resident Playbook team.
However, Go Yoon Jung and Kang Yoo Seok couldnโt join at the same time due to prior commitments. Kang Yoo Seokโs team confirmed on May 30 that he had left for Bali after finishing his schedule. Go Yoon Jung also departed on the same day from Incheon Airport.
Why Were They Late?
Both actors had individual projects delaying their Bali trip. Kang Yoo Seok is preparing for his next drama, Seochodong, set to premiere in July 2025. Meanwhile, Go Yoon Jung was busy with advertisement shoots and her upcoming Netflix series, Can This Love Be Translated?.
Despite the delay, the two will still enjoy a few days in Bali with their co-stars. Fans spotted the main cast boarding a bus upon arrival, though Go Yoon Jung and Kang Yoo Seok were absent at that time.
