KBS2’s new drama Face Me has already captivated viewers with its intense mystery and compelling character dynamics in its first two episodes.

A Unique Partnership: Cha Jeong Woo and Lee Min Hyeong

Face Me follows the unexpected collaboration between the emotionally distant plastic surgeon Cha Jeong Woo (played by Lee Min Ki) and the determined detective Lee Min Hyeong (played by Han Ji Hyun). However, Lee Min Ki subtly reveals the deeper layers of his character, showing glimpses of compassion when Jeong Woo listens to patients’ stories and uses his medical expertise to uncover truths that others miss. His performance perfectly balances the character’s stoic exterior with moments of empathy, keeping viewers intrigued.

Han Ji Hyun’s Detective Transformation

Han Ji Hyun delivers an impressive performance as Lee Min Hyeong, a passionate detective in her first role of this kind. Known for her quirky and endearing habits, such as grabbing chocolate after solving a case or chasing down suspects on an electric scooter, Han Ji Hyun brings a fresh energy to the role. She has clearly put in the effort to make her portrayal of a Violent Crime Unit detective feel authentic, having trained at an action school to perfect her performance. Her action scenes are both convincing and engaging, adding to the overall intensity of the drama.

Chemistry Between Lee Min Ki and Han Ji Hyun

The chemistry between Lee Min Ki and Han Ji Hyun is another highlight of Face Me. Their contrasting personalities—his cold, methodical nature and her energetic, compassionate demeanor—create an exciting dynamic. While they are both deeply committed to seeking justice for the victims they encounter, their reluctant alliance develops over time, making their interactions more engaging with each episode.
