Netizens are joking about the state of HYBE‘s relationship with Korean outlet Dispatch after a recent article.

On May 14, Dispatch shared their own expose about everything that has been happening with the company and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, and it seemed to be against HYBE.

Yet, while there were some serious allegations, international fans have used the expose to joke about HYBE’s “relationship” with Dispatch.

In the past, netizens assumed that there was some kind of agreement between HYBE and Dispatch, as while the outlet has exposed many relationships over the years, none have included those from HYBE groups. Idols, actors, and celebrities are always wary of Dispatch as they’ve been known to reveal dating news regularly, but none have come from HYBE.

So after the article from Dispatch was released, netizens wondered if HYBE had done something to the outlet, joking that they needed to pay “more money” to ensure their safety. In particular, with Dispatch seemingly confirming allegations of Bang Si Hyuk ignoring the NewJeans members, some think they got the CCTV and have a lot of information and access to the company.

Even on Weibo, netizens were pointing out how shocking it was for Dispatch to speak negatively about HYBE, even if it was to confirm allegations.
