A new Korean romantic comedy is bringing workplace deception and unexpected romance to television this November. SBS’s Dynamite Kiss stars Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin in a story about a single woman who pretends to be a married mother to land a job, and the team leader who accidentally falls for her.

The production has released new posters showing the lead characters in a tight embrace with startled expressions, hinting at the comedic chaos that will define their relationship.

Plot and Character Dynamics

“Dynamite Kiss” centers on the unconventional romance between team leader Gong Ji Hyuk and his new employee Go Da Rim. Gong Ji Hyuk is a sharp and capable leader at a childcare product company who finds his orderly world turned upside down when he shares an unexpected kiss with Go Da Rim.

The situation becomes complicated when he discovers she is supposedly married with a child. In one character poster, a confused Gong Ji Hyuk asks, “Why did you tell me that you didn’t have a boyfriend?”

Go Da Rim, unable to confess her deception, cleverly replies, “I don’t have a boyfriend. It’s just that I have a husband.” She is a single woman who created the married persona specifically to overcome workplace discrimination and secure employment.

The drama’s main poster captures the moment of their embrace with the tagline, “Emergency! Dynamite-level kiss alert!” This kiss serves as the catalyst that changes both their lives, awakening romantic feelings in Gong Ji Hyuk’s once-cynical heart and stirring emotions in Go Da Rim, who has been worn down by the difficulties of job hunting.

Supporting Cast and Love Triangles

The series features additional characters who create more complex relationship dynamics. Kim Mu Jun plays Kim Sun Woo, Go Da Rim’s longtime friend who becomes her fake husband in the deception. His own marriage ended in divorce, adding another layer to their arrangement.

Woo Davi joins the cast as Yoo Ha Young, the youngest daughter of a wealthy chaebol family. She becomes entangled with Kim Sun Woo, who pushes her away by stating, “We’re from different worlds.” Unfazed by his rejection, Yoo Ha Young cheerfully responds, “I’ll go to your world!” suggesting a potential second love line in the series.

Production Details and Broadcast Information

“Dynamite Kiss” is co-written by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min and directed by Kim Jae-hyun. The production represents a significant investment, with Samhwa Networks signing a 17 billion won supply and production contract with Studio S for the drama.

The series is scheduled to premiere on November 12, 2025, at 9:00 PM KST. It will air on SBS TV every Wednesday and Thursday. The drama is planned for a total of 14 episodes, with each episode running approximately 70 minutes. International viewers will be able to watch the series on Netflix, which will release episodes according to the broadcast schedule.

The production has already generated positive buzz, with actress Song Hye Kyo showing her support by sending a coffee truck to the filming set in June. Banner on the truck read, “Looking forward to a great production,” offering encouragement to the cast and crew.
