Japanese media outlet Shukan Bunshun released photos showing former The Boyz member Ju Haknyeon and ex-adult film actress Asuka Kirara together in Tokyoโ€™s Roppongi district. The pictures show the two hugging and appearing close in public.

The images quickly spread online, leading to Ju Haknyeonโ€™s agency, One Hundred Label, terminating his contract. The agency stated his actions damaged the groupโ€™s reputation. Asuka Kirara denied any illegal activities between them.

Ju Haknyeon and Asuka Kirara Seen Together in Roppongi

On May 30, 2025, Ju Haknyeon was seen with Asuka Kirara in Roppongi, a popular nightlife area in Tokyo. The photos show him wearing all black with a mask and cap, while she wore a dress and sunglasses.

In one picture, Ju Haknyeon hugs Asuka Kirara from behind. Another shows them talking closely with their arms linked. Witnesses said they continued hugging even as people passed by.

Reports say they met at a private lounge after a night of drinking and karaoke. They later left together in a taxi to Asuka Kiraraโ€™s home. Ju Haknyeon returned to his hotel the next afternoon.

Agency Terminates Ju Haknyeonโ€™s Contract

One Hundred Label announced on June 18, 2025, that Ju Haknyeonโ€™s contract was terminated. They cited his behavior as a violation of their exclusive contract terms.

The agency stated:
“After looking into the situation in detail, we decided to fully inform Ju Haknyeon of the grounds for contract termination per Article 6, Section 3 of the exclusive contract, which states, ‘Acts that damage the dignity of the artist to the extent that cause interference with the activities.’”

A staff member claimed Ju Haknyeon initially bragged about sleeping with Asuka Kirara but later said he lied to “look cool.” The agency found his actions harmful to The Boyz‘s image.

Asuka Kirara Denies Prostitution Allegations

Asuka Kirara responded to rumors, stating:
“Besides my professional (AV) work, I have never engaged in prostitution. No matter how much money has been offered, I have never accepted money in exchange for sx in my personal life. Of course, that means this time as well. I swear that I did not engage in such acts.”*

She also said:
“You may not believe me, but this is the truth. I have no idea how such a rumor started to spread.”

Despite her denial, a netizen filed a complaint against Ju Haknyeon for possible prostitution-related charges under South Korean law.

Fans and Public Reactions

Many fans supported the agencyโ€™s decision, saying the photos were enough reason to remove him from the group. Others questioned how he was recognized since his face was mostly covered.

Some fan comments included:
“Wowโ€ฆ I feel terrible for his fans. I do wonder how he was recognized, though. Heโ€™s all covered up.”
“I think One Hundred Label made the right decision.”
“Doesnโ€™t look like he was โ€˜just thereโ€™ to me. Who does he think heโ€™s fooling?”

Past Controversies Involving Asuka Kirara

Asuka Kirara was previously linked to Hey! Say! JUMP member Inoo Kei in 2015. They were seen together in Singapore, but both agencies denied any relationship.
