The assault was allegedly both verbal and physical.

An alleged altercation occurred at the Hong Kong International Airport as fans gathered to send off their K-Pop idols. On May 18, TREASURE and INFINITE‘s L (also known as Kim Myungsoo) were in Hong Kong for their respective shows, coincidentally both named “Reboot.”

And the coincidences didn’t end there. On May 19, both TREASURE and L were at the airport flying to their next destination around the same time. Hence, two groups of fans gathered as they waited to see their idols. Afterwards, a fan alleged a verbal and physical altercation occurred.

“I have to berate her even if I end up revealing myself this time. TREASURE, your fans are so f*cking mighty. Today, TREASURE and L left around the same time, with TREASURE leaving first. Obviously, there’s no rule saying you must leave after sending off your own idols, but don’t come running back after hearing us scream L’s name. You even yelled, ‘Who’s that? Who’s that?’ and ‘Oppa, oppa,’ and the real fans missed out on a lot as a result.

The most important part is when everyone was giving him letters and gifts, this woman, the person in the photo climbed up against the corner! I don’t know if you’re a TREASURE fan or in our fandom (I hope not ^^). I can overlook the fact that the security guard pushed me while I was handing L a letter, but why did you hit me on the shoulder and call me f*cking crazy? Was I in the way of your making a heart with an oppa you didn’t actually know? Do you consider this a good manner? If you’re a TREASURE fan, do you know who this person you’re calling ‘oppa’ really is? You don’t even f*cking know, but you put out your fat hand to make a heart with him. We older fans couldn’t even see L.

I heard last time another group took flights at around the same time but the fans were much more well-behaved. I’m so sorry, but this time, Mainland Chinese fans were better than Hong Kong fans. Lots of fans being scolded were from Hong Kong. I hope someday you all will get hit and blocked by fans from other fandoms when you’re trying to see TREASURE.”

Later on, the fan posted a video of the alleged incident. Someone could be heard saying, ‘Hey, hey. You’re insane. F*ck you.’ just before L walks into the frame.

“I might as well post the video, too. It was so wild that as soon as I got over there, I got yelled at by the TREASURE fan (I think) as she said, ‘Hey, hey. You’re insane. F*ck you.’ After swearing at me, she kept saying, ‘Oppa, oppa.’ Honestly, those who went to send L off would not call him oppa. Everyone says Myungsoo. This was another hint that this girl didn’t even know it was L.

I was pretty relaxed about sending him off and said ‘Myungsoo’ very quietly when I tried to give him a letter. I thought I would have an extra box of chocolate for a late-night snack if he didn’t take it. But I ended up getting hit by this girl. Honestly, I wanted to look at L a bit more, so I didn’t want to swear back at her. But I regret not doing so now.

I must say, TREASURE fans not only block other people from seeing their idols but also hit others. They even say f*ck you to other fandoms. I came to know a lot of new groups during KCON, and TREASURE[‘s fandom] is even scarier than ZEROBASEONE’s. All K-Pop fandoms need to watch out. If TREASURE is present next time, practice punching first.”
