Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, and Cheryl Ladd are officially returning to their detective roles for a major reunion. The trio will share the stage to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the television classic Charlie’s Angels. This special event is part of the upcoming PaleyFest LA 2026 festival.
The reunion panel is scheduled for Monday, April 6, 2026, at the famous Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. This marks the first time in 34 years that these three stars have appeared together for a public event. Their last group appearance was at the 1992 People’s Choice Awards.
Event Details and Ticket Information
PaleyFest LA 2026 will run from Saturday, April 4, through Sunday, April 12. The festival features screenings and conversations with casts from current popular shows. The Charlie’s Angels 50th-anniversary celebration is a central highlight of the nine-day schedule.
Tickets for the reunion and other panels are sold through the Paley Center and Ticketmaster. A presale period began on Tuesday, January 27, for Paley Center members and Citi cardmembers. The general public can purchase any remaining tickets starting on Friday, January 30, 2026. Ticket prices typically range from about $20 to $70, depending on the event and seating.
The Significance of the Reunion Cast
The three actors attending have a deep history with the groundbreaking series. Jaclyn Smith is the only original Angel who stayed for the show’s entire five-season run, playing Kelly Garrett. Kate Jackson played the brainy Sabrina Duncan for the first three seasons and was instrumental in developing the show’s original concept. Cheryl Ladd joined in the second season, replacing Farrah Fawcett, and played rookie detective Kris Munroe until the series ended in 1981.
The show, which followed three women working for a mysterious private investigation boss named Charlie, was a massive hit. It turned its stars into global celebrities and sparked a merchandising frenzy known as “Angelmania”. In a joint statement, Jackson, Smith, and Ladd reflected on the show’s unexpected success and its cultural impact.
“Charlie’s Angels surprised everyone when Farrah, Jackie and I hit the ground running (thanks, in part, to Farrah’s iconic poster) and the pilot went through the glass ceiling,” they said. “Overnight, we were hailed with something akin to ‘rock star fame.’… It was lighthearted, but, at the beginning of the Women’s Movement in the 1970s, also quietly delivered the important message that women are just as capable as men.”
Remembering Other Angels and the Show’s Legacy
The reunion also brings attention to other actors from the series who have passed away. Farrah Fawcett, who played Jill Munroe in the iconic first season, died in 2009. Tanya Roberts, who joined the cast for the fifth and final season as Julie Rogers, died in 2021. Shelley Hack, who played Tiffany Welles in the fourth season, later moved into film production.
The original television series led to a successful film franchise, starting with the 2000 movie starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu. The upcoming PaleyFest panel offers a rare chance to hear directly from the stars who started it all. Plans for a live stream or video release of the panel have not been officially confirmed, but past PaleyFest events are often made available online.
