Kim Jae Young, known for his role in the drama Love in Contract, has expressed high regard for his co-star Park Shin Hye in their upcoming K-drama The Judge from Hell. In a recent interview, Kim praised Park Shin Hye’s acting prowess and described her as an influential mentor on set.

Acting Together in The Judge from Hell

On September 12, 2024, Kim Jae Young and Park Shin Hye participated in an interview with South Korean media outlet Newsen. During the conversation, Kim Jae Young spoke highly of Park Shin Hye, noting that working with her was a significant learning experience.

Kim Jae Young highlighted Park Shin Hye’s professionalism and expressed gratitude for her guidance. He remarked:

“There is so much to learn from her. Although she is my senior, she is younger than me and was very considerate and helpful, guiding me throughout our work together.”

He further elaborated on how observing Park Shin Hye’s performances over the years has been educational. Kim praised her for consistently delivering exceptional acting performances and for her dedication on set.

Park Shin Hye’s Role in The Judge from Hell

In The Judge from Hell, Park Shin Hye plays Kang Bit Na, a demon from hell disguised as a criminal court judge. Kim Jae Young noted that Park Shin Hye’s portrayal of the complex character was challenging, but she managed to handle it with remarkable skill.

Kim Jae Young commented:

“Her character is extremely challenging, but she never showed any difficulty and gave her best until the end. Despite being a demon and an anti-hero, her charm makes the character someone you can’t hate. She is intense yet compelling and protective.”

About The Judge from Hell

The Judge from Hell is a fantasy action and romance K-drama that explores the intriguing premise of a demon living among humans as a judge. The show features Park Shin Hye as Kang Bit Na and Kim Jae Young as Han Da On, a warm-hearted detective.

The drama is set to premiere on September 21, 2024, at 10 PM KST (6:30 PM IST) on SBS and will also be available for streaming on Disney+.
