LeBron James Shows Support for Kendrick Lamar

The Los Angeles Lakers star was filmed at a beachside restaurant in Cannes with his wife, Savannah James, and business partner Maverick Carter. In the clip, LeBron enthusiastically raps along to “Not Like Us”, a song targeting Drake in their long-running feud.

This isn’t the first time LeBron has publicly backed Kendrick. Last year, he attended Lamar’s “Pop Out” concert in Los Angeles, which reportedly upset Drake. Since then, the rapper has removed a tattoo honoring LeBron and changed lyrics in his songs that once praised the NBA legend.

“He dancing harder to it now leswitch up,” one fan commented on Instagram. Another added, “He forcing it now!”

Drake’s Response to LeBron’s Actions

Drake has taken subtle shots at LeBron throughout 2025. In January, he released “Fighting Irish Freestyle”, which many believe contained lyrics criticizing LeBron for switching sides. The title references LeBron’s high school team, the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish.

During his Anita Max Win Tour, Drake altered lyrics in his song “Nonstop”, changing “How I go from 6 to 23 like I’m LeBron?” to “How I go from 6 to 23, but not LeBron?” He also covered up his LeBron tattoo, replacing it with an image of NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

“I saw bro went to Pop Out with them, but been d—k riding gang since ‘Headlines,’” Drake raps in his song “What Did I Miss?”, seemingly calling out LeBron.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Join the Moment

While LeBron’s reaction stole the spotlight, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sanchez, were also part of the scene. Bezos filmed Sanchez as she danced to the song at the same restaurant. The couple, who recently married in Venice, have been enjoying their honeymoon in the French Riviera.

Sanchez, a former journalist and pilot, has been making headlines for her philanthropic work and recent spaceflight with Blue Origin. Her appearance in the viral video added another layer of celebrity buzz to the moment.

Adin Ross Criticizes LeBron’s Loyalty

Streamer Adin Ross, a close friend of Drake, blasted LeBron during a live stream, calling him disloyal for supporting Kendrick’s diss track.

“As I love LeBron my whole life, you can just see what a piece of s–t human he is,” Ross said. “Imagine if your best friend for 15 years—and he’s met his actual children—and you’re rapping to a song about him being a pedophile. It’s sad.”

Ross, who also knows LeBron’s son Bronny James, claimed the incident changed his opinion of the basketball star.

What’s Next in the Drake vs. LeBron Feud?

With Drake currently touring Europe and working on his upcoming album “Iceman”, fans are waiting to see if he’ll respond further. Meanwhile, LeBron has not publicly addressed Drake’s subtle disses, letting his actions—like dancing to “Not Like Us”—speak for themselves.

The tension between the two longtime friends continues to grow, with no clear resolution in sight. Whether this feud escalates or fades away remains to be seen.
