On January 11, 2025, the production team of When the Stars Gossip shared new still images featuring Lee Min Ho as Gong Ryong and Oh Jung Se as Kang Kang Soo. The pictures show Gong Ryong anxiously waiting for a chance to get back a sample taken from him by Kang Kang Soo. The high security on the space station makes this a difficult task.
Gong Ryong sees his chance when the astronauts get distracted by lottery tickets that Kang Kang Soo asked Eve Kim to bring from Earth. This short distraction gives him the opportunity to secretly look for the hidden sample.
At the same time, Kang Kang Soo is carefully watching the other astronauts, waiting for the right moment to perform an artificial insemination mission he has been assigned. The upcoming episode will show whether Gong Ryong can retrieve the sample before Kang Kang Soo completes his mission.
About the Drama
When the Stars Gossip is directed by Park Shin Woo, who also directed It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, and written by Seo Sook Hyang, the writer of Don’t Dare to Dream. This romantic comedy takes place in space and focuses on the unexpected connection between an astronaut and a space tourist who meet at a space station.
The third episode of When the Stars Gossip will air on January 11, 2025, on the South Korean network tvN and the global streaming service Netflix.
