Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In, a popular couple in the Korean entertainment industry, have reportedly moved into a luxurious villa in the upscale Hannam-dong neighborhood of Seoul. This move also makes them neighbors with EXO’s Baekhyun.
New Home in Hannam-dong
On January 7, 2024, the South Korean news source E-Daily reported that Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In had secured a high-end unit in a luxury villa in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The report stated that Lee Seung Gi signed the lease for a unit at Lanubo Hannam in August 2023.
The leased unit is on the second floor and measures 2,750 square feet. The deposit for the lease was 10.5 billion KRW (Korean Won), making it the most expensive rental transaction in the real estate market for both 2023 and 2024. The lease is set to end in August 2026, suggesting a long-term stay for the couple.
From Newlyweds to Hannam-dong Residents
Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In married in April 2023. They initially lived in Lee Seung Gi’s apartment in Samseong-dong. This new lease indicates that the couple has relocated to the Hannam-dong villa.
Labelmates and Neighbors
EXO’s Baekhyun also moved into Lanubo Hannam in June 2023, which was widely reported at the time. This means that Baekhyun and Lee Seung Gi are now neighbors. Besides being neighbors, they are also labelmates. Baekhyun’s agency, INB100, operates under ONE HUNDRED, while Lee Seung Gi’s agency, BPM Entertainment, is a subsidiary of the same parent company. They both appeared in the agency’s holiday music video, The Last Christmas.
