The first fan vote of the season shook up the villa in a major way. Host Ariana Madix delivered the news that three brand new bombshells would be coupling up based entirely on viewer decisions, resulting in three Islanders being left single and vulnerable.
The results are in, and Season 8 has officially claimed its second casualty.
The Bombshells and the New Couples
Earlier this week, three new singles—Sol, Jen, and Caleb—entered the villa as bombshells. It was up to America to decide who they should couple up with, and the app saw record-breaking engagement, crashing under the weight of the votes.
The results of the fan vote were as follows:
- Caleb was coupled up with Kenzie. This left Kenzie’s former partner, Corbin, single and vulnerable.
- Jen was paired with Gabriel. This left Gabriel’s former partner, Beatriz, single and vulnerable.
- Sol was paired with Sincere. This left Sincere’s former partner, Melanie, single and vulnerable.
While these three new couples formed, some of the villa’s existing connections managed to survive the vote unscathed. The couples Aniya & KC, Bryce & Trinity, and Zach & Kayda remained intact following Episode 9.
Who Got Dumped?
With Corbin, Beatriz, and Melanie left standing alone, the power shifted to Corbin. As the only single guy, he was given the chance to couple up with one of the two single girls in order to stay in the game.
Corbin ultimately chose to recouple with Melanie, citing a previous connection he felt with her. This decision left Paralympian Beatriz Hatz as the odd one out.
Ariana Madix officially informed Beatriz that she was being dumped from the island, making her the second Islander eliminated in Season 8.

Drama in the Villa
Beyond the recoupling, tensions continued to rise. A recent challenge designed to reveal honest opinions among the Islanders turned emotional for Bombshell Sol. She was repeatedly picked for negative prompts, leading to her briefly walking away from the game before later returning to finish the challenge.
Following the recoupling, the villa dynamics remain fragile. With Sincere now coupled with Sol and his ex Melanie now with Corbin, fans can expect lingering tension between the on-and-off couple to escalate in the coming episodes.
