Fans can mark their calendars for November 7, 2025. On that date, the first three episodes of the six-part season will debut globally on Prime Video. The streaming service will then release one new episode each week, building up to the season finale on November 28, 2025. This release pattern will be available in more than 240 countries and territories.
What Happens Next in Season 2
The second season is based on Save You, the second book in Mona Kasten’s best-selling series. The story begins with Ruby and James after their passionate night together in Oxford. With her Oxford goal seemingly within reach, everything appears perfect for Ruby. However, a sudden tragedy in James’s family changes everything.
Ruby is left devastated as James, the person she has the strongest feelings for, also hurts her more deeply than anyone else. She longs for her old life before she was known at Maxton Hall and before she became part of the elite world of her classmates. Despite her pain, she finds she cannot forget James, especially as he tries everything to win her back.
Damian Hardung, who plays James, described the new season as “really dark,” suggesting a more intense journey for the characters.
Who Returns and Who Joins the Cast
The main cast members reprise their roles, with Harriet Herbig-Matten returning as Ruby Bell and Damian Hardung as James Beaufort. Other returning cast members include Sonja Weiรer as Lydia, Ben Felipe as Cyril, and Fedja van Huรชt as Mortimer Beaufort.
The new season introduces several new characters who add fresh dynamics to the story. Dagny Dewath joins as Ophelia Beaufort, the younger sister of James and Lydia’s mother, who becomes an ally to the young couple. Proschat Madani plays Alice Campbell, an influential businesswoman who offers Ruby a private scholarship to Oxford.
Other new cast members include Anna Lucia Gustmann as May Clancey, Basil Eidenbenz as Frederick Ellington, Laura de Boer as Mortimer’s new assistant, and Kiro Ebra as Forest, a figure in British high society. Gina Henkel has taken over the role of Ruby’s mother, Helen Bell.
