Park Shin-hye leads a dynamic ensemble in TVING’s new weekend hit, Undercover Miss Hong. The workplace comedy, which launched on January 17, 2026, follows a top financial inspector who goes undercover as a young intern at a suspicious securities firm. The show blends investigation with comedy as she navigates corporate life and a complicated reunion with her ex-boyfriend.

The Main Cast of Undercover Miss Hong

The drama centers on a sharp financial inspector and the people who complicate her secret mission. Each character brings a unique dynamic to the story of corporate investigation.

Park Shin-hye stars as the title character, Hong Keum-bo. She is a 35-year-old elite inspector at the Financial Supervisory Service, known for her tough reputation as the “Witch of Yeouido”. To investigate hidden funds at Hanmin Investment & Securities, she uses her youthful looks to assume the identity of a 20-year-old high school graduate named Hong Jang-mi. In her undercover role, she must handle entry-level tasks while secretly searching for evidence, all while hiding her true skills and intelligence.

Her mission gets personal when the company’s new CEO turns out to be her former lover. Ko Kyung-pyo plays Shin Jung-woo, a cold and calculated corporate raider known as a “corporate hunter”. He believes only numbers are honest and will use any method to reach his goals. When he meets the new intern Hong Jang-mi, he is struck by her resemblance to the woman he once loved, creating immediate tension and confusion.

Living with Keum-bo in the company dormitory is Ha Yoon-kyung as Go Bok-hee, a secretary at Hanmin Securities with a resilient spirit and a complicated past. She dreams of escaping to the United States and navigates the corporate world with a mix of opportunism and hidden hopes. Cho Han-gyeol rounds out the main cast as Albert Oh, the manager of the Risk Management Division. Despite his high-ranking position, he is a reluctant executive with a background in film studies and a fondness for conspiracy theories.

Supporting Characters and Family Dynamics

The story expands through a network of colleagues, family, and corporate figures who each influence Keum-bo’s undercover life. Their interactions build the show’s world of office politics and hidden agendas.
