Min Hee Jin, the former CEO of ADOR, has strongly refuted rumors suggesting that she was planning to leave the company and seek investment for NewJeans from a company linked to Hyein’s uncle. The rumors, which recently circulated, were quickly dismissed by Min Hee Jin as baseless.

Rumors About Min Hee Jin’s Departure and Investment Deals

Reports claimed that Company D was in talks with Min Hee Jin to sign a contract for investing in NewJeans‘ production. Additionally, it was rumored that Hyein’s uncle Lee was being considered for an internal director role at Company D. According to a report by Woman Economy, five individuals, including Lee and another executive tied to NewJeans’ Japan activities, were set to be registered as internal directors at Company D.

However, the registration process was unexpectedly canceled, sparking further speculation about Min Hee Jin’s involvement with the company. Despite these claims, Min Hee Jin firmly denied them, stating on November 5 that she had not entered any contract with Company D, nor was she seeking any investments from the company. She labeled the rumors as “groundless” and confirmed she was not leaving her position at ADOR.

“I have not entered into any contract with Company D, nor am I seeking investments from them,” Min Hee Jin clarified.

NewJeans Responds to the Rumors

Amid the growing controversy, NewJeans addressed the rumors in a certified letter, stating:

“There are currently unfounded rumors circulating about the families and relatives of NewJeans members, but NewJeans has no connection to these rumors.”

This public statement helped put the matter to rest for the girl group, confirming that they were not involved in any way with the speculative claims.

Min Hee Jin’s Position at ADOR

Despite stepping down as CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jin has since been reinstated as an internal director at the agency. This decision has not been well-received by NewJeans, who expressed their dissatisfaction early on. In response to her dismissal as CEO, the group sent a certified letter to ADOR, stating they would terminate their contract if Min Hee Jin did not return to her position.
