The local police call it an accident, but things seem suspicious. The eight clocks placed as a joke are now neatly lined up on the mantelpiece—but only seven are there.
Gerry’s close friend, the sharp and determined Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent, does not believe his death was accidental. Convinced it was murder, she decides to investigate herself. Her search for answers pulls her into a deeper mystery involving secret notes, a strange London club, and another mysterious death. She is eventually joined by the serious Superintendent Battle, played by Martin Freeman, who has also been looking into the case.
