Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin showcase their comedic chemistry in the latest teaser for the upcoming K-drama When the Stars Gossip. The teaser, released on December 19, 2024, features the duo navigating the challenges of space travel while engaging in playful banter.
When the Stars Gossip follows the story of an astronaut and a space tourist who meet and develop a unique relationship during their journey to the stars. The teaser shows Commander Eve Kim, played by Gong Hyo Jin, trying to comfort Gong Ryong, portrayed by Lee Min Ho, by comparing their zero-gravity environment to a mother’s womb. However, Gong Ryong dismisses the comparison as “nonsense.”
The teaser highlights the humorous and somewhat strained dynamic between the characters. Eve Kim expresses her reluctance at having to care for a tourist for eight days, while Gong Ryong deals with motion sickness in zero gravity, emphasizing his VIP status after paying 70 billion won for his trip. Despite Eve Kim‘s attempts to assist, Gong Ryong resists her help, adding to the comedic tension.
Additionally, the teaser introduces a potential love triangle with Choi Go Eun, Gong Ryong‘s current partner, encountering her ex, Kang Kang Soo, suggesting more complexity to the unfolding narrative.
