The first raw scans and detailed spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1176 are out, and they bring huge developments in the Elbaph arc. Lilith gives Franky a major power-up with a new energy source, and the terrifying secret of how to break Imu’s Domi Reversi control is finally revealed.
Lilith Upgrades Franky with Super Heavy Cola
The chapter, titled “Full of Pride,” opens with a special color spread. Eiichiro Oda has redrawn the cover of Volume 12, now including all the current Straw Hat crew members .
As the battle to save the Walrus School library continues, Lilith arrives with a machine from Vegapunk’s box called the OmniDrain Converter (ODC) . This device can absorb the massive amounts of “energy” floating around in Elbaph .
Lilith uses the ODC to suck all the heat energy from the flames burning the school and library, instantly freezing them. She then converts this energy into “Super Heavy Cola” and gives it to Franky .
Lilith is shocked to learn that Franky, who has a body on the same level as a Pacifista, has never tried any fuel stronger than regular cola . Powered by this new energy source, Franky unleashes a new punch attack called “Strong Dexter” .
Sanji Defends Jinbe Against Killingham
The God’s Knight Killingham continues his assault, ordering the MMA Lindworm to destroy the school. He also hurls racist insults at Jinbe, mocking him for being a Fish-Man. Killingham boasts about wearing a helmet so he does not have to breathe the same air as Jinbe .
This attack on his crewmate brings out Sanji, who appears in front of Killingham. Sanji declares he will punish the God’s Knight for insulting his nakama . In a brutal double-page spread, Sanji uses “Concassé” to kick Killingham’s helmet clean off his head . At the same time, Jinbe (using “Vagabond Drill”) and the upgraded Franky team up to defeat the MMA Lindworm and free Zeus .
The Secret of Domi Reversi: Death is the Cure
The biggest revelation in Chapter 1176 concerns the mind-control power, Domi Reversi, used by Imu . The giants Dorry and Brogy, who were under this spell, momentarily regained their senses. Realizing they were being used as weapons, the two legendary warriors made a drastic choice.
They said goodbye to each other and cut off each other’s heads .
Instead of dying, something incredible happened. Their bodies flipped back, similar to how the Domi Reversi power works but in reverse, and they were fully restored to their normal, healthy selves .
This confirms the loophole: if a person under Domi Reversi is killed, the control is broken, and they are brought back to life completely healed.

With this new knowledge, the final double page of the chapter shows Zoro, Dorry, Brogy, Hajrudin, and Stansen standing together, ready to fight the other giants still under Domi Reversi control .
Stansen explains that dying once will end their demonic transformation. Brogy adds that even if they become ruined corpses, flipping them back will make them good as new. Zoro grins and asks if that means they can just go for it. Hajrudin confirms there is no need to hold back, as inflicting enough damage to kill them will return them to normal .
Dorry and Brogy then list fatal options like slicing off heads and digging out hearts. The chapter ends with all of them smiling malevolently and saying, “We can’t do that…” , adding a darkly comedic tone to the brutal revelation .
One Piece Chapter 1176 will be officially released on Sunday, March 8, 2026, on Manga Plus and Viz Media . The manga will be on a break the following week .
