The popular South Korean survival audition Sing Again is returning for a fourth season, officially titled Sing Again 4: Unknown Singer Battle. The show has revealed the 81 contestants who will compete for the title, with the premiere set for October 14, 2025.
The new season will feature a mix of familiar faces from the music industry and complete newcomers, all vying for a chance to reignite their careers. Trusted host Lee Seung Gi is back to guide the program, while a star-studded panel of judges, including new addition Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation, will decide their fates.
Everything to Know About the New Season
Sing Again is a JTBC audition program that gives overlooked, forgotten, or lesser-known singers another opportunity to perform on a major stage. The show has built a strong reputation for discovering hidden gems, creating a phenomenon often called the “revolt of the unknowns.” Past seasons have launched the careers of stars like Lee Seung-yoon, Lee Mu-jin, and Hong Isaac.
The production team for Season 4 has stated that this season will highlight both “Sing Again Kids”โsingers who have trained and been inspired by the showโand “genuine unknown” singers who have never had media exposure before.
The Complete Judge and MC Lineup
The judging panel for Sing Again 4 blends veteran and contemporary voices from the Korean music industry. Seven judges from the previous season are returning, joined by one high-profile new member.
The full panel includes legendary balladeer Yim Jae-beom, audition mogul Yoon Jong-shin, singer Baek Ji-young, lyricist Kim Eana, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Davichi’s Lee Hae-ri, and producer Code Kunst. They are joined by Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation, who is the newest addition to the team.
In a video showing the judges’ first meeting, Taeyeon shared her excitement about joining the show. She said, โWhen I heard Season 4 was happening, I was secretly hoping to be part of itโso I agreed immediately. I love this program so much that I even found myself giving opinions and critiquing performances at home.โ
Kyuhyun offered this advice to contestants: โI think people who listen to it will love the voice only when they love themselves the most.โ
Lee Seung Gi, who has hosted the series since its early seasons, will return as the MC.
