Netflix has released the main poster for Squid Game Season 3, showing Lee Jung Jae and other players preparing for the final deadly challenges. The poster hints at big twists, new dangers, and the shocking absence of a key character. The final season premieres on June 27, 2025.

The poster features a dreamlike setting with a blue sky and yellow stars on the ground. Players in green tracksuits walk carefully on a narrow path. The stars look playful but also feel like warnings. The calm scene hides the deadly games waiting ahead.

Familiar faces like Lee Jung Jae (Player 456), Im Siwan (Player 333), and Park Sung Hoon (Player 222) are seen in the poster. Their tense expressions suggest they are moments away from danger. The poster also highlights the missing Front Man, whose absence raises big questions about who controls the games now.

“The beginning of the end is here. Watch Squid Game Season 3, out 27 June, only on Netflix.” โ€“ Netflixโ€™s Instagram caption.

Season 3 continues the story of Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung Jae), who returns to destroy the deadly games. After failing in Season 2, he faces new challenges, including betrayal by the Front Man, who disguised himself as Player 001. Many players died in the last season, and the new poster suggests even more danger ahead.

The new games will include childhood memories turned deadly. A giant gumball machine appears in the teaser, spitting out red and blue balls to decide teams. The final moments of the teaser also show a baby crying, adding mystery to the story.

Season 2 ended with Gi-hun losing friends and allies. Detective Junho was tricked by a traitor, and the Front Man remained in power. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk said Gi-hun is now in “deep despair,” questioning if he can still change the game or if he will become like the Front Man.

The posterโ€™s bright colors contrast with the dark story. The stars and childlike drawings make the setting feel innocent, but the players know death is near. Fans are excited to see how the final season will end the global hit series.

Squid Game remains Netflixโ€™s most-watched show. Season 2 broke records with 192.6 million views in its first week, second only to Season 1โ€™s 265.2 million. The final season is expected to be even bigger.
