The 2025 Asia Artist Awards in Taiwan celebrated its 10th anniversary with a massive ceremony, crowning top artists and actors from across Asia. Held on December 6 at the packed Kaohsiung National Stadium, the event saw huge names like Stray Kids and IU take home the night’s top honors. The boy group Stray Kids won an impressive total of eight awards, including the major Artist of the Year prize for singers. The talented soloist and actress IU matched their success, winning six awards herself, including Artist of the Year for actors. Other big winners included IVE, Park Bo-gum, and Lee Junho, making the 10th-anniversary show a night to remember for fans.
The Biggest Winners of the Night
The ceremony distributed awards across many categories for both music and acting. The most prestigious prizes, called Daesang or Grand Prizes, highlighted the year’s best achievements.
In music, Stray Kids dominated by winning Artist of the Year (Singer) and Album of the Year for their work “KARMA“. The girl group IVE won Song of the Year for their hit “REBEL HEART“. Other major music awards went to LE SSERAFIM for Music Icon of the Year, ATEEZ for Stage of the Year, and RIIZE for Performance of the Year.
For actors, IU led the field by winning the Artist of the Year (Actor) Daesang. The Best Actor of the Year awards were split between television and online streaming (OTT) platforms. Lee Junho won for TV for his role in “Typhoon Family,” while Park Bo-gum won the OTT category for “When Life Gives You Tangerines“. The Best Actress of the Year winners were Lim Yoona for TV and Moon So Ri for OTT, who also starred in “When Life Gives You Tangerines“.
