On August 30, 2024, SBS released the 2nd teaser for The Judge from Hell, which is scheduled to premiere next month. The teaser introduces Park Shin Hye as Kang Bit Na, a demon disguised as a judge who revels in meeting “bad guys” in the Criminal Justice department.

In stark contrast, Kim Jae Young appears as Han Da On, a detective in the Violent Crimes Unit who believes in the protective power of the law:
“If justice is still present, law will protect me.”
Conflict Between Characters
The teaser reveals a clear clash between the two leads:
Kang Bit Na is shown teaching children that “Justice is dead,” suggesting she takes the law into her own hands. Scenes depict her enacting extreme measures against criminals.
Han Da On confronts the inadequacies of the legal system, questioning Kang Bit Na’s methods:
“Are you doing something illegal?”
Kang Bit Na’s response highlights her disregard for legal boundaries:
“What does it matter? What matters is that the bad guy is dead.”
