A Father’s Desperate Search for His Son

The official synopsis for episode 5 is simple but charged with emotion: “Frank focuses on tracking down Luke. The CIA’s involvement ramps up as Havlock’s plan enters a new phase.” This marks a significant turning point for Frank Remnick, played by Jason Clarke.

Until now, Frank has been juggling the threat to his community with the search for the elusive fugitive Havlock. A phone call from his wife, Sarah, shatters that balance. She informs him that their son, Luke, is missing from the family cabin and that a U.S. Marshal has been found dead there. Fearing a repeat of the family’s past tragedy involving their late daughter, Ruby, Frank’s priorities instantly shift. He will put his mission to find Havlock on hold to personally lead the search for his son.

This leaves CIA agent Sidney Scofield, played by Haley Bennett, to pursue Havlock as his plan advances. Havlock is closer than ever to obtaining Archive 6, a classified hard drive containing secrets about the CIA’s Atwater Protocol. The courier carrying the drive has already landed in Alaska, setting the stage for a high-stakes race. Sidney and the CIA must stop Havlock from getting the drive, while Havlock, always several steps ahead, maneuvers to finally secure the damaging intelligence.

Key Storylines to Watch in Episode 5

The episode will see multiple storylines collide, raising the tension for all characters involved.

Frank’s Family Crisis: The danger for Luke Remnick, played by Tait Blum, is now out in the open. In the previous episode, he was trapped in the woods with the criminally insane fugitive Isaac Romero after a car crash. Frank’s desperate search will force him to navigate the vast and treacherous Alaskan wilderness to find his son before it is too late.

Havlock’s Endgame Nears: With the courier in Alaska, Havlock’s master plan is entering its final stages. Played by Dominic Cooper, Havlock aims to meet the courier in Fairbanks to obtain the Archive 6 hard drive. His success or failure will have global repercussions and could expose the CIA’s darkest operations.

Sidney’s Personal Mission: Sidney Scofield remains under suspicion from her own agency, with the CIA’s Office of the Inspector General suspecting her of helping Havlock. Her mission to stop him is not just professional but deeply personal, as she fights to clear her name and stop the man she once loved.
