Tommy Bradley, a fan favorite from Love Island’s 2025 series, is giving the villa another try. He is now part of the Love Island: All Stars 2026 cast. In a recent chat, the 22-year-old from Hertfordshire talked about how intense emotions can be inside the show. He mentioned he often “catch[es] feelings quite quickly” in that environment. This honesty gives viewers a look at his mindset as he searches for love again.
The new season started on Monday, January 12, 2026, on ITV2 and ITVX. Tommy entered the South African villa alongside other well-known islanders like Whitney Adebayo, Millie Court, and Ciaran Davies. Before going in, he admitted he needed to change his strategy. During his first time on the show, he focused too much on one person right away. This time, he plans to keep an open mind and get to know more people.
Tommy said: “Iโm going to get to know more people. In the early days I was all eyes for one girl and I may have shut a lot of doors too early on. Iโm going to be more open-minded and not fall for someone so quickly.”
The Public Pairs Tommy With Jess Harding
The launch episode saw host Maya Jama put the islanders through their paces. They played a “Good or No Good” game before a major twist. It was revealed the public had already voted on the first couples. Fans paired Tommy with Jess Harding, the winner of Love Island’s 2023 series.
This pairing was not a complete surprise. Tommy had revealed before entering the villa that he and Jess had a prior connection. They had exchanged flirty direct messages on social media for about a month last year.
Tommy revealed: “I was messaging quite flirty DMs with Jess Harding. I never met Jess but we DM’d quite a lot. We were trying to meet up, but it fizzed out and nothing happened. It could be interesting if she’s in there.”
Their on-screen meeting seemed positive. Jess even joked with Tommy, “Don’t catch feelings too quick though,” nodding to his known tendency to form attachments fast. While many viewers were happy to see them together, some reactions on social media were mixed. Some fans felt the show was pushing a “fixed” narrative for the pair to win from the very beginning.

Tommy Shares What Makes Love Island Stressful
Beyond romance, Tommy opened up about the less glamorous side of the Love Island experience. He explained that one of the most stressful parts is the constant uncertainty created by producers’ text messages.
Tommy explained: “Every time a text comes in, you are on edgeโฆyou don’t know if you’re going to be gone from the villa; you don’t know if there’s going to be a bombshell; you don’t know if you’re going to leave the villa or go somewhere or a challenge. So it’s just the not knowing what’s going to happen.”
He described how this disrupts any sense of routine, which he personally finds difficult to handle.

Despite the pressures, Tommy believes the unique setting of the villa can help form genuine connections. He feels the experience of living together 24/7 naturally speeds up the process of getting to know someone.
Many of his fellow All Stars share this hope for a real connection. Millie Court, who won her original series, says she feels more confident and knows what she wants now. Shaq Muhammad is looking for a wife, while Belle Hassan declared she is ready to find a husband.
Since his last appearance, Tommy says his dating life has been quiet. He spends most of his time with his small group of friends, who are mostly in long-term relationships. This made him feel like he was “just tagging along” on couple outings, strengthening his desire to find a partner of his own.
