The penultimate episode of Typhoon Family delivered high-stakes drama, blending a desperate father’s crisis with a thrilling breakthrough in the series’ central mystery. Episode 15, which aired on November 29, 2025, saw the emotional rescue of Song-Jung’s father and a high-stakes break-in that finally uncovered a crucial piece of evidence.
A Father’s Despair on the Rooftop
The episode opened with a panicked Song-Jung rushing to his friends, crying that his father was going to end his life. Kang Tae-Poong, Oh Mi-Seon, and Song-Jung immediately raced to the factory. They found Song-Jung’s father standing on a shaky platform on the roof, holding onto a railing for dear life. Overwhelmed with guilt, he revealed he had not been able to pay his employees for three months. The final blow came when his loyal workers, instead of blaming him, pooled their own money to help him, making him feel even more responsible for their hardship.
Tae-Poong carefully climbed a derelict ladder to reach him. He shared his own story of choosing to inherit his father’s company and its debts instead of running away. Hyun-Jun’s Cruel Takeover and a Business Betrayal

As a result, Song-Jung’s father’s company, Dabon Tech, was declared bankrupt, and its assets were seized by the bank. With their backs against the wall, Tae-Poong and his team devised a plan to break into Hyun-Jun’s office and find evidence of his shady dealings. As the team was caught and then dramatically rescued by Go Ma-Jin‘s taekwondo skills, they managed to escape. In the ensuing chaos, Tae-Poong called out to Seon-Taek and accidentally dropped the box. It broke open, revealing a hidden promissory note dated back to 1989. The document proved that Hyun-Jun’s father, Pyo, was supposed to transfer 30% of his company shares to Tae-Poong’s father. This long-lost note finally gives Tae-Poong the power to fight back and reclaim what is rightfully his.
