Story Recap and New Challenges
The previous episode, titled “The Wind Cannot Stop Me,” saw Kang Tae-pung officially name himself CEO of the struggling Typhoon Trading Company. He also promoted the hardworking bookkeeper Oh Mi-seon to a trader position, finally giving her the career opportunity she always wanted.
Together, they managed to outmaneuver their rival, Pyo Bak-ho. They secured much-needed funds by selling him the remaining stock of Italian fabric. This small success allowed them to travel to Busan to explore new business ventures. There, Tae-pung made a quick decision to sign a distribution deal for a line of shoes.
The episode ended on a somber note. Despite the business victory, Tae-pung and his mother were evicted from their home due to unpaid rent. With nowhere else to go, they were forced to spend the night at the company’s office.
What to Expect in Episodes 5 and 6
The upcoming episodes will deal with the immediate consequences of Tae-pung’s eviction. According to the preview, Tae-pung and his mother will move into Mi-seon’s suburban home, where they will be greeted by her younger brother, Oh-beom.
On the business front, Tae-pung will have to face the results of his impulsive shoe deal from the Busan trip. He will also dive headfirst into promoting the new product. In a daring move, he will film a promotional video by himself, which features him performing a dangerous stuntโleaping through a glass panel while wearing the shoes.
The preview also suggests that Tae-pung will become aware that Pyo Bak-ho is plotting another scheme against him. He will confront Bak-ho’s son, Hyun-jun, but will feel powerless against their influence. The pressure will become so overwhelming that Tae-pung is shown breaking down in his mother’s arms, releasing all of his built-up stress. Despite these challenges, he will continue to work hard to rebuild the company with Mi-seon steadfastly by his side. The preview also hints at their growing closeness, showing a scene where Tae-pung fixes Mi-seon’s bow tie.
