Helene takes Alice to a rundown apartment complex to meet a young woman named Hebe (Aya Mokhles). Reluctantly, Alice shows Hebe a photo of Tom on her phone. The reaction is immediate and terrifying. Alice Makes a Drastic Decision
Episode 3 shows a major transformation in Alice. After meeting Hebe, she decides to stop running and start fighting. She cuts her own hair short, a practical move to change her appearance and avoid police recognition. But Kaley Cuoco explains that the haircut means much more than that.

To access the restricted port area, Alice uses a clever distraction while Helene pretends to choke on candy. The guard rushes to help Helene, giving Alice time to find the container number on the computer. Later, the two women sneak past security by using a large semi-truck to block the cameras. Running through the dark docks, they locate the specific container.
Using bolt cutters, Helene breaks the lock and pulls open the door. The sight inside confirms everything. The container is filled with frightened, desperate people—victims of a human trafficking operation. Tom is not just a man with secrets; he is a criminal profiting from the suffering of others.
Where the Investigation Stands
By the end of Episode 3, Alice’s world has been completely upended. She is wanted for a murder she did not commit. She has lost the man she loved. And she has discovered that he is part of an international trafficking ring. The episode closes with the two women staring into the container, the full weight of the situation crashing down on them.
The evidence is now undeniable. Tom is connected to the ghost company Kalco, which allegedly received millions from the aid organization SOS Global to provide help that never reached anyone. Alex was spotted meeting with Inspector Drax, suggesting police corruption may also be involved. And Mira, the woman Tom kissed, seems to be his partner in crime.
With only one episode remaining in this four-part miniseries, the stakes could not be higher. Alice and Helene have found the victims, but Tom and his associates are still out there. Alice must now decide how to bring him to justice while clearing her own name and staying alive.
