The animated adventure series WondLa is launching its third and final season on November 26, 2025, exclusively on Apple TV+. This last chapter concludes the story of Eva and her friends as they face their most dangerous mission yet to prevent a war and save their world.

The season will be available to stream with a subscription to Apple TV+. The final chapter consists of six episodes, bringing the epic story based on Tony DiTerlizzi’s bestselling books to a close.

The Story of the Final Season

In the last season, a major war breaks out between humans and aliens. The future of the planet Orbona is at risk. The hero, Eva, must undertake her most perilous quest so far: to recapture the stolen Heart of the Forest, a powerful energy source.

To have any chance of success, Eva must reunite with old friends and form new alliances with unlikely partners. However, simply finding the Heart is not enough. The core theme of the season is the idea that “There is no ‘them.’ There is only us.” To achieve peace, Eva must find a way to unite the two divided worlds.

The new season picks up directly from the shocking end of Season 2, where Eva tragically died after connecting with the powerful Heart of the Forest. With the villain Cadmus Pryde now in possession of the Heart, the stakes have never been higher for Orbona and its inhabitants.

The People Behind the Voices

The series features a star-studded voice cast that returns for the final season. Jeanine Mason leads as the hopeful and determined Eva. She is joined by Brad Garrett as the gentle giant Otto, Gary Anthony Williams as the gruff but caring Rovender, and Alan Tudyk as the human-supremacist antagonist Cadmus Pryde.

Other returning cast members include Ana Villafaรฑe as Eva 8, John Harlan Kim as Hailey, and Peter Gallagher as Antiquus. The final season also introduces new characters voiced by award-winning actors Shohreh Aghdashloo and Maz Jobrani.

The show is based on the “The Search for WondLa” book trilogy by Tony DiTerlizzi, who also serves as an executive producer. The series was developed and showrun by Bobs Gannaway.

A Look at the WondLa Journey

For those new to the story, WondLa follows a young girl named Eva who was raised in a secluded underground bunker by a robot named Muthr. After being forced to the surface, she discovers the planet is not the Earth she was taught about, but a strange world called Orbona, filled with alien creatures and no other humans in sight.

Throughout her journey, Eva, along with her companions Otto and Rovender, searched for other humans while evading dangerous figures like the alien hunter Besteel. The series has been praised for its vibrant animation and unique creature designs.

The director for the final two episodes of the season, Carlos Baena, shared his pride in the project on social media, stating, “Iโ€™m truly proud of the experience, the message it shares, and the remarkable team who made it possible.”
