After representing the 118 in the firefighting games on the 9-1-1: Nashville crossover, Buck and Eddie were driving home to Los Angeles. The promo for Episode 13 shows their road trip taking a horrific turn. A truck forces them off the road, leading to a crash.
When Eddie wakes up in the hospital, he asks about Buck. The response is chilling: “There was nobody else in the car with you.” Back in LA, Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) panics when she learns her brother is missing. Athena (Angela Bassett) suggests someone might have picked him up, but the promo reveals the terrifying truth—Buck has been taken .
Oliver Stark Calls This His Favorite Episode
Oliver Stark has been open about how intense this episode is. He told TV Insider that Episode 13 is his “favorite episode of the season.” He described it as “really dark” and “really different for the show.”
“Making it felt very different and watching it feels very different. So yeah, Episode 13 is probably my favorite Buck episode of the season.”
Stark also teased that this experience will change his character for the rest of the season. “Episode 13 sets him on a particular path for the rest of the season, and it’s a case of regrounding and coming back to himself post Episode 13,” he explained .
