The fourth episode of Euphoria Season 3, titled “Kitty Likes to Dance,” dropped on HBO Max on May 3, 2026, and it delivered the most intense chaos of the season so far.
Rue Bennett’s dangerous double life finally caught up with her. After getting pulled over by the DEA at the end of Episode 3, the new episode shows Zendaya’s character trapped between becoming a federal informant or facing life in prison. Meanwhile, Cassie Howard decided to leave her broken marriage to Jacob Elordi’s Nate Jacobs and team up with Maddy Perez for a risky fame makeover.

Rue’s DEA Interrogation Ends With A Life-Changing Choice
Episode 4 opens inside a cold interrogation room. The DEA officers have solid proof against Rue. They show her photographs of her trip to Mexico and her clear links to Laurie, the drug lord played by Martha Kelly.
Rue tries to lie her way out. But the agents quickly shut her down. They tell her she is facing 20 years in prison with no parole, plus an additional 20 years for every death connected to her drug activities. That means a life sentence.
The DEA gives Rue one option. She can either go to federal custody, or she can become a confidential informant. Rue breaks down crying. She agrees to wear a wire and help the feds take down Laurie and Alamo Brown, the strip club owner played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
Rue’s narration in the episode says, “That is how I became a snitch.”

Cassie Walks Out On Nate After The Wedding Disaster
The episode also deals with the immediate fallout from Cassie and Nate’s violent wedding. Nate got his toe cut off by a loan shark named Naz. His debt stands at $1 million.
Cassie confronts Nate in their home. Nate tries to fix things by calling his injured toe “a metaphor.” He says their broken relationship can be healed just like his stitched-up toe.
Cassie does not buy it. She tells him, “The fairytale’s over.” Then she walks out of the house without looking back.
Sydney Sweeney’s character then turns to Alexa Demie’s Maddy for help. The two former best friends, who spent Season 2 fighting over Nate, now team up for a business deal. Maddy gives Cassie a full makeover. The goal is to take Cassie “from the suburbs to the city.”
Maddy takes Cassie to a party hosted by an influencer named Brandon Fontaine. The plan is simple. Cassie needs to attract Brandon’s attention so he posts about her. That will drive millions of eyes to her page.

Violence Erupts At The Silver Slipper Club
Back at the strip club, Rue struggles to keep her cover. The DEA replaced Laurie’s drugs with sugar pills and laxatives. Rue has to act normal while agents listen to every word through her phone.
During a poker game, Rue tries to push Alamo into a big drug deal. He immediately gets suspicious. “Why would you ask me something so catastrophically dumb?” he asks her. Alamo thinks Rue is just using drugs again, not working with the feds. Rue barely escapes exposure.
The episode’s final act brings a violent showdown. Armed gunmen wearing Obama masks storm the Silver Slipper. They demand access to the safe and shoot Big Eddy, one of Alamo’s men, in the stomach.
In the middle of the chaos, Rue sits next to Magick, a club worker who already suspected Rue was a snitch. The gunmen threaten to shoot both women. Rue survives the attack, but her cover gets even shakier.
By the end of episode 4 of Euphoria Season 3, Rue is almost exposed and both sides start to doubt her.
The biggest twist comes when Rue identifies the getaway driver. She realizes the driver is Faye, played by Chloe Cherry, who works directly for Laurie. This single clue confirms to Alamo’s crew that Laurie organized the attack.

Jules And Lexi’s Art Project Goes Very Wrong
In a lighter but still dramatic subplot, Lexi Howard, played by Maude Apatow, hires Jules, played by Hunter Schafer, to paint a background for the TV show “LA Nights.” Sharon Stone’s character Patty runs the show.
Lexi asks for a simple picnic scene. Jules turns it into a parody of a famous painting but adds 14 penises to the artwork. The network refuses to air it. Patty tells Lexi the delay costs $56,000 for lost shooting time and an extra $191,000 to reschedule.
Jules gets upset and destroys her own painting. Lexi ends up in tears, worried about her job.
