The wait for the next chapter of the horror series ‘From’ got longer. Fans looking forward to Episode 6 on May 24, 2026 will have to change their plans. MGM+ moved the release date back by one week.
Episode 6 Gets a New Release Date
Episode 6, titled “The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter,” will now air on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The show usually follows a Sunday release schedule. The delay came after the release of Episode 5 on May 17.
This change breaks the normal weekly rhythm of the season. Series star Harold Perrineau confirmed the May 31 date on his official X account. The episode will air at the usual time of 9:00 PM ET/PT on MGM+.
The show is also available to stream on Prime Video for those with the MGM+ add-on. Each episode runs for about 60 minutes.
Why the One-Week Pause Happened
MGM+ did not give an official reason for the schedule shift. Reports suggest the delay is because of the Memorial Day holiday weekend in the United States. Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 25.
Streaming services often avoid dropping big episodes on holiday weekends. Fewer people watch live TV or stream when they are traveling or with family. Moving the episode to May 31 helps the show reach a larger audience.
This is a one-week pause. The rest of the season should continue without more breaks after this.
What to Expect in Episode 6
The story is getting darker as the season hits the halfway point. Episode 5 ended with Jade learning troubling information about the children. Episode 6 will deal with the aftermath of that discovery.

Boyd and Jade will disagree on what to do next. The promo for the episode shows danger closing in on the town. One clip shows Boyd trying to save someone’s life. Kristy and Marielle stand nearby, suggesting it might not work.
