Riteish Deshmukh‘s historical drama Raja Shivaji has finally made its digital debut on Netflix on June 26, 2026. The film, which became the highest-grossing Marathi film ever, is now available for streaming in both Marathi and Hindi. Raja Shivaji made history at the box office. The film collected over ₹130 crore worldwide, making it the highest-grossing Marathi film of all time. According to Jio Studios, the film earned ₹109.9 crore in India and ₹4.9 crore overseas.
This achievement is remarkable because the film did not have an overseas theatrical release. It surpassed the previous record holder Sairat, which had collected ₹110 crore worldwide. Made on a production budget of ₹75 crore, the film is also the most expensive Marathi film ever produced.
