Then came the moment fans had waited years to see. Urahara finally revealed his Bankai: Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame. Instead of focusing only on destruction, the Bankai reconstructs anything it touches. Urahara used it to restore his damaged eyes and change the flow of battle.
The fight took another turn when Grimmjow appeared and attacked Askin from behind. Urahara had secretly brought him into the battlefield. Askin fell, but the poison from Gift Ball Deluxe continued to spread. Nell then arrived and rescued Urahara and Grimmjow.
Meanwhile, in Wahrwelt, Ichigo Kurosaki and Orihime Inoue finally stood before Yhwach. Yhwach tried to shake Ichigo by calling him the “Son of Darkness” and questioning his destiny. Ichigo refused to be intimidated and launched attacks while Orihime supported him. Yhwach also revealed that Ichibe Hyosube once wanted Ichigo to become the next Soul King.
