The third season of My Life with the Walter Boys is set to arrive on Netflix this week, bringing fans back to Silver Falls for more drama, romance, and family tension. The series, based on Ali Novak’s novel, follows Jackie Howard as she navigates life with the large Walter family and a complicated love triangle between two brothers.
Season 3 consists of 10 episodes, all dropping at once on the streaming platform. The season was announced on May 14, 2025, with production starting on August 6, 2025, and wrapping on December 1, 2025. The show has also been renewed for a fourth season, expected to arrive in 2027.

Season 2 Recap: The Cliffhanger Finale
Season 2 ended with multiple cliffhangers that left viewers eager for answers. The season began with Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) returning to Silver Falls after fleeing to New York at the end of Season 1. She had left because she kissed Cole Walter (Noah LaLonde) while being in a relationship with his brother Alex (Ashby Gentry).
Throughout the second season, Alex gave Jackie the cold shoulder after she left without saying goodbye following his love confession. He started rodeo training and briefly connected with his trainer Blake, but quickly realized he still had feelings for Jackie.
A barn fire caused by a lightning strike brought Alex and Jackie closer together. Jackie found Alex’s horse Murphy, which had bolted during the fire, and brought him back home. This led the pair to grow close once more, and they began secretly seeing each other. Alex declared his love for her again, and this time Jackie reciprocated.
Meanwhile, Cole and Jackie attempted to suppress their emotions by maintaining just a friendship. However, Cole discovered Jackie and Alex in a passionate embrace at Richard Howard’s residence. He slipped away quietly without revealing he had witnessed their kiss, then began avoiding Jackie.
In the final episode, Jackie confronted Cole, and he disclosed he knew about her relationship with Alex. Cole finally confessed his love for Jackie, and while she admitted she loved him too, she explained he made her feel chaotic and she needed control over her own existence. He moved in to kiss her when Cole noticed Alex watching them.
Before Jackie could respond, chaos erupted at the ranch. Will Walter (Johnny Link) appeared with an ambulance. When asked about the situation, Will simply said: “It’s dad,” ending the second season with George Walter (Marc Blucas) being rushed to the hospital in a medical emergency.
What to Expect from Season 3
Season 3 picks up exactly where Season 2 left off. The Walter family is reeling from George’s hospitalization, and Jackie’s love confession to Cole hangs in the air. Showrunner Melanie Halsall describes the season as being about “growing up, maturing, and stepping up”.
The official logline for Season 3 reads: “Season 3 sees the Walters realize what’s important in the fallout from this – and discover that it’s okay to go after what you want. With their love lives still hanging in the balance, Alex turns to his new rodeo riding team, and Cole gets back in the driver’s seat of his life, literally, when a race car driver sees potential in him. Meanwhile, Jackie pours her heart into developing the town’s community space. But when a childhood friend arrives from New York, the life she left behind proves harder to forget than she expected”.
Alex focuses on his rodeo career, joining a team at Hartford’s and navigating the fame and attention that comes with it. Halsall says Alex matures more than anyone between Seasons 2 and 3.
Cole finds a new direction when he enters the world of car racing after losing his football future. A drag racer named Mac (Chad Rook) hires Cole to revamp a racing car engine and is impressed by Cole’s natural skills behind the wheel.
Jackie pours her heart into developing the town’s community space. However, her love triangle with Cole and Alex becomes even more complicated with the arrival of Eliot (Naveen Paddock), her childhood friend from New York City. Eliot is Uncle Richard’s new intern, handsome and charming with an air of New York sophistication.
