What Happened in Episode 6
Episode 6 of Spooky in Love saw Yeo-ri and Gang-uk teaming up to solve a 300-year-old mystery. They agreed to investigate together with no secrets, though Yeo-ri requested they avoid unnecessary physical contact because she worried her supernatural condition could affect Gang-uk.
The ghost haunting the gallery turned out to be Dowon, a painter from the Joseon era. He claimed to have loved a woman named Hwagyeongdang. Prince Gangpyeong, who was obsessed with her, had Dowon tortured, forced Hwagyeongdang into marriage, and later killed her when she tried to escape.
Gang-uk questioned the story but later found a second poem that proved Dowon had written it, not the prince. Yeo-ri explained that Dowon’s spirit could only rest if Hwagyeongdang’s remains were found and buried beside his.
Meanwhile, Yeo-ri and Gang-uk began looking into suspicious transactions at the Reina Hotel and found links between a money-laundering case and the Yeeon Museum. Min-hwan met Yeo-ri and gave her gloves, but jealousy surfaced between Yeo-ri and Gang-uk during a group dinner. Gang-uk later saved Yeo-ri from a motorcycle accident, which led to an accidental kiss.
On another front, Chairwoman Baek’s health continued to worsen, and she urged Yeo-ri to accept the engagement with Min-hwan. At the same time, Min-hwan secretly began investigating Gang-uk’s heart transplant.
