Story So Far
The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects tells the story of Dias, a war hero who is rewarded with land after the war ends. However, the land turns out to be a barren frontier with no people, no villages, and no signs of civilization. Undeterred, Dias sets out to build a domain from the ground up. His lonely frontier begins to change after he meets Alna, a mysterious girl with a blue horn.
The first six episodes have covered Dias’s arrival at his new domain, his initial struggles with the empty land, and the slow arrival of visitors who begin to populate his territory. Episode 4 introduced the neighboring lord, and Episode 5 continued the development of the frontier.
The series adapts the light novel series by Fuurou and is produced by animation studio42.
