Episode 7 Recap: What Happened Before
Episode 7, which aired on August 15, 2026, showed Allen starting his new role as a manservant for the Granvell family. This position gave him official status within a noble household, which was a major step up from his life as a serf.
During his days off, Allen received permission to leave the city and hunt monsters. This allowed him to fight creatures much stronger than what he faced in his village. The episode focused on Allen’s ability to level up quickly despite the restrictions of his new position.
The episode also showed the social structure of the world. Becoming a manservant meant becoming part of the noble family, which opened up opportunities that were not available to commoners or serfs. Allen’s father had cried when the Baron accepted him, and Episode 7 explained why this was such a big deal.
What to Expect in Episode 8
Episode 8 is titled “Huntsman”. The preview materials suggest that Allen will finally go on a long-awaited beast hunt. His skill at hunting monsters earns him a promotion, and the baron’s family is expecting a visit from the eldest son.

Music and Production Details
The second season features new theme songs. Romanha Marshmallow performs the second opening theme “○✕△□”. ChoQMay performs the second ending theme “Firetail”.
The first opening theme was “Haku” by Atarayo, and the first ending theme was “Sanctuary” by Kaya.
The anime is produced by Yokohama Animation Laboratory. The series is based on the light novels by Hamuo and Mo, which have been released in English by J-Novel Club since 2021. The eighth volume of the light novel came out in December 2024.

About the Series
The story follows Kenichi Yamada, a 35-year-old man who has spent his life playing MMORPGs.
