The penultimate episode of the hit K-drama delivered heartbreak, shocking reveals, and a cliffhanger that left fans worried about Yeo-Ri’s fate.

The most shocking moment of episode 11 comes at the very end. Park Seung-Jae uncovers old footage from the yacht incident and tries to use it against Min-Hwan. But this decision costs him his life.
Yeo-Ri goes to meet Seung-Jae but finds him dead. When Gang-Uk arrives at the scene to investigate, he finds a cufflink on the floor. Then, a large dump truck charges toward Gang-Uk.
Yeo-Ri arrives just in time and pushes Gang-Uk out of the way. The truck hits her instead, and she collapses in a pool of blood. This cliffhanger ending left viewers wondering if Yeo-Ri would survive.

The episode reached a peak rating of 6.9% nationwide and 6.7% in the Seoul metropolitan area. It ranked first in its time slot across all channels, including public broadcasters. The drama also performed strongly among viewers aged 20 to 49.
Spooky in Love also ranked third on Netflix’s Global Top 10 for non-English shows during the week of August 10-16. The show has been trending in the Americas, Africa, and Asia.
What Happens Next in the Finale
The twelfth and final episode of Spooky in Love aired on August 23, 2026. Fans who were worried about Yeo-Ri’s fate received good news. Yeo-Ri survives the truck accident. She is rushed to the hospital and spends time in a coma. Gang-Uk stays by her side and refuses to leave.
The finale also reveals the truth about Ji-Hwan’s death. Min-Hwan killed Ji-Hwan on purpose to become the family heir. This confirmation finally answers the questions fans had about Min-Hwan’s true nature.
