Two Korean dramas are currently leading the conversation among viewers. A Shop for Killers 2 and Spooky in Love have taken the top spots on the most buzzworthy drama and actor rankings for this week.
The rankings come from Good Data Corporation, which tracks online discussions across news articles, blog posts, social media, video platforms, and online communities. These rankings show which dramas and actors people are talking about the most right now.
A Shop for Killers 2 Stays at Number 1
A Shop for Killers 2 held onto the number 1 position on the drama list for the second week in a row. The Disney+ action series captured 16.06% of the total drama buzz share in the latest rankings.
The show premiered on July 22, 2026, on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the United States. The second season runs for eight episodes, with the first two episodes arriving on July 22 and new episodes following every Wednesday. The season finale aired on August 12.
Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Jun returned for the second season. The cast also includes Japanese stars Hyunri and Masaki Okada, who joined as new assassins. The story picks up with Jeong Ji-an now running the weapons shop, while her uncle Jeong Jin-man, who faked his death in season one, returns to help her fight against Babylon.
Spooky in Love Rises to Second Place
Spooky in Love moved up one position to number 2 on the drama list with a 12.88% buzz share. The tvN romance drama started airing on July 18, 2026, on tvN and Netflix. It airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m. KST and has 12 episodes total.
The show’s ratings have been climbing. Episode 9, which aired on August 15, recorded an average nationwide rating of 6.1% and peaked at 7.6%. Episode 10, which aired on August 16, reached an average of 7.3% nationwide and peaked at 8.2%. The drama ranked number 1 in its time slot across all channels, including public broadcasters.
Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong Top the Actor Rankings
The top two spots on the actor buzz list went to the leads of Spooky in Love. Park Eun Bin claimed the number 1 position with a 6.08% buzz share. Her co-star Yang Se Jong followed at number 2 with 4.61%.
The on-screen romance between Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong has become a major talking point for viewers. Their characters, Cheon Yeo Ri and Ma Kang Wook, officially became a couple in recent episodes. Viewers have responded positively to their chemistry, which has helped boost both the drama’s ratings and its online buzz.
The show also features Ong Seong Wu in a supporting role, adding a love triangle element to the story.
Lee Dong Wook and Other Cast Members in the Top 10
Lee Dong Wook from A Shop for Killers 2 ranked number 3 on the actor list with a 4.57% buzz share. His performance in the action thriller continues to draw attention from viewers.
Two other cast members from A Shop for Killers 2 also made the top 10. Kim Min came in at number 8 with 3.38%, and Kim Hye Jun ranked number 9 with 3.33%.
Kim Hye Jun actually appeared twice in the top 10 this week. She also ranked number 10 for her role in the new series My Bias, My Boss, which debuted at number 6 on the drama list.

Spooky in Love has also performed well on Netflix globally. The show reached the top 10 in 44 countries and ranked number 1 in Indonesia and Singapore. It placed third in the Netflix Global Top 10 for non-English TV shows.
The buzz rankings show that both action and romance dramas are connecting with audiences right now. A Shop for Killers 2 continues to lead the conversation with its action-packed story, while Spooky in Love gains momentum through its growing romance and strong lead performances.
