Two K-pop acts have set personal YouTube records on the same day. Stray Kids‘ music video for “This & That” crossed 100 million views on September 23, 2026, at approximately 3:25 PM KST, just 47 days after its release on August 7. On the same date, KATSEYE‘s “Hootie Frutti” hit 100 million views at around 1 AM KST, only 40 days after arriving on August 14. For both groups, these are their fastest music videos ever to reach the milestone.

Stray Kids Break Their Own Record

Stray Kids released “This & That“ on August 7, 2026, at 1 PM KST as the title track of their mini-album of the same name. The music video reached 100 million views in 47 days, which works out to one month and 16 days.

This breaks the group’s previous record for the fastest music video to hit 100 million views. “This & That” is now Stray Kids’ 21st full-group music video to cross the 100 million mark. The list includes “God’s Menu,” “MIROH,” “Back Door,” “My Pace,” “Thunderous,” “MANIAC,” “Hellevator,” “Christmas EveL,” “CASE 143,” “S-Class,” “LALALALA,” “CIRCUS,” “VENOM,” “Chk Chk Boom,” “MEGAVERSE,” “CHEESE,” “CEREMONY,” “DO IT,” “Walkin On Water,” and “Easy”.

Within three days of its release, the “This & That” music video had already passed 50 million views. The group also performed at Rock in Rio 2026 in Brazil in September, becoming the first K-pop artists to headline the festival.

KATSEYE Set a New Personal Best

KATSEYE‘s “Hootie Frutti” music video surpassed 100 million views on September 23, 2026, at approximately 1 AM KST. The song was released on August 14 as the title track of the group’s third mini-album, WILD.

The video reached the milestone in 40 days, breaking the group’s previous record of 54 days set by “ANIMAL”. The difference is 14 days faster than their old best.

“Hootie Frutti” is now KATSEYE’s eighth video to pass 100 million views. Other videos in the club include the “Gabriela” performance video at over 360 million views, the debut song “Touch” at over 300 million views, and both the official and dance versions of “Gnarly” at over 200 million views each.

The music video for “Hootie Frutti” draws its look from Brazilian carnival colors, and the choreography is built around the idea of tasting fruit. The video had already pulled in 10 million views within 36 hours of going live.

What This Means for Both Groups

Stray Kids continue to build on their global reach. The group’s ability to pull in over 100 million views across 21 different music videos shows a fanbase that consistently shows up. The “This & That” release also pushed sales close to 3 million copies in just five days.

KATSEYE, formed through a joint project between HYBE and Geffen Records, now holds eight videos with over 100 million views. The group’s WILD album topped the Billboard 200, and the singles “Animal” and “Hootie Frutti” charted on the Hot 100 at peaks of No. 24 and No. 31 respectively.

Two more KATSEYE videos are close to joining the 100 million club. The “PINKY UP” dance version sits at 95.41 million views, and the “Gabriela” music video has 94.57 million views.

Both music videos are available on YouTube worldwide, including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, India, and other regions. “This & That” arrived on August 7, 2026, while “Hootie Frutti” came out on August 14, 2026. No separate platform release has been announced for either video beyond YouTube.
