Apple TV‘s upcoming crime drama Nocturne brings together a powerhouse cast led by Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham. The 10-episode series, based on Lars Kepler’s bestselling novels Lazarus and The Sandman, is scheduled to make its global debut on Friday, October 30, 2026, with the first two episodes dropping at launch. New episodes will follow every Friday through December 25, 2026. The story follows Jonah Lynn (Schreiber), an ex-soldier turned homicide detective who leaves Philadelphia for a quiet life in western Pennsylvania, only to be pulled into a dangerous hunt for a cunning serial killer.

Liev Schreiber stars as Jonah Lynn, the ex-soldier and homicide detective at the center of the story. Schreiber also serves as an executive producer on the series. He is known for his roles in Ray Donovan, The Perfect Couple, and A Small Light.
Zazie Beetz plays FBI Agent Saga Bauer, Jonah’s surrogate daughter who is sent to face the killer head-on. Beetz also executive produces the series through her Sleepy Poppy production company. Her previous credits include Atlanta, Joker, and Deadpool 2.
Stephen Graham takes on the role of Jurek Walter, the serial killer threatening Jonah’s new life. Graham is known for his work in Adolescence, A Thousand Blows, and Venom: The Last Dance.
