A Wild Last Boss Appeared Season 2 Episode 3 Recap: Aries Attacks Svel
Episode 3, titled “Aries Has Attacked!”, focuses on the Ram of the Twelve Heavenly Stars and his assault on the magical nation of Svel.
Aries attacks Megrez, the Wise King who rules Svel, driven by anger over Lufas’s sealing at the hands of the Seven Heroes. Megrez and the guardian deity Levia fight back to protect the people, but they begin to falter against Aries’s relentless assault. Lufas watches from a distance and decides it is time to teach her former subordinate a lesson.
Lufas steps in and defeats Aries by force. After beating sense into him, she punishes the devilfolk who manipulated him and catches up with Megrez. The episode ends with Aries subdued and the immediate threat to Svel neutralized.
The conflict shows how far the world has drifted in the 200 years since Lufas’s defeat. Aries, once a loyal servant, has been consumed by resentment and used by outside forces. Lufas’s decision to stop him by force marks a shift in her approach—she is not simply recruiting former allies but actively correcting their paths.
Character Story Progress After Episode 3
Lufas Maphaahl has now brought Aries back under control. She continues her mission to reunite the Twelve Heavenly Stars. Her willingness to use force when necessary adds weight to her journey and sets the tone for the rest of the season.
Aries is defeated and subdued. His attack on Svel was fueled by resentment over Lufas’s sealing. He is now back under Lufas’s influence, but the episode shows how much he has changed over two centuries.
Megrez survives the attack with Lufas’s help. As the Wise King of Svel, he remains a key figure in the world’s current political landscape. His faltering against Aries shows the limits of his power against a Heavenly Star.
Levia fights alongside Megrez and helps protect Svel. The guardian deity’s efforts buy time for Lufas to intervene.
Dina continues to travel with Lufas. Her true nature remains a mystery. Previous episodes have hinted at a connection to the goddess Alovenus, but Episode 3 does not resolve that question.
Karkinos and Scorpius were the focus of Episode 2. Karkinos runs a restaurant in the mobile city Blutgang. Scorpius was caught in an explosion at the end of Episode 2, setting up her eventual reunion with Lufas. Their stories are paused in Episode 3 but remain part of the larger reunion arc.
The devilfolk manipulated Aries and are punished by Lufas. Their involvement shows that outside forces are actively working against Lufas’s efforts to rebuild her team.
What to Expect in A Wild Last Boss Appeared Season 2 Episode 4
Episode 4 continues the reunion arc. Lufas has secured Aries and now moves forward with her mission. The aftermath of the Svel attack and the fate of the devilfolk who manipulated Aries will likely carry into the next chapter. The mystery of Dina’s identity and the broader conflict with the Seven Heroes remain central threads. Viewers can expect more action and further development of the Twelve Heavenly Stars as Lufas works to bring her former servants back together.
